Estradiol hormone therapy

Hormone therapy may be considered for selected menopause symptoms.

Benefits & considerations

When hot flashes interrupt your day and night sweats break up your sleep, hormone therapy may help you feel more comfortable. Systemic estradiol can relieve these symptoms; an evaluation helps determine whether its benefits outweigh the risks for you.

Your symptoms, health history and preferences guide the formulation and route. If you have a uterus, a progestogen is generally needed with systemic estrogen to protect the uterine lining. Local vaginal estradiol addresses dryness and discomfort instead.

Planned option

Progesterone

May be part of an individualized hormone therapy plan.

Benefits & considerations

A menopause treatment plan should address comfort and safety together. If you have a uterus and use systemic estrogen, a progestogen is often needed to protect the uterine lining. Whether progesterone belongs in your plan depends on your individual assessment.

Nonhormonal options

Explore approaches when hormones are unsuitable or not preferred.

Benefits & considerations

Hot flashes and night sweats can disrupt life even when hormones are not the right fit. Nonhormonal medicines and other approaches may help manage symptoms. An evaluation can help you understand the choices, their risks and what fits your health history.

Eligibility & safety

Understand eligibility, limits and safety before considering treatment.

What can an evaluation help me understand?

An evaluation can help put midlife changes in context. Changes in periods, hot flashes, night sweats, sleep, mood, vaginal comfort and weight may be worth discussing. These experiences can overlap with other conditions; not every symptom is caused by menopause.

Do I need to have reached menopause?

No. You can explore care during perimenopause as well as after menopause. You do not need to wait until periods have ended to seek information about changes you are experiencing. The planned category covers both stages and does not require you to diagnose yourself before asking questions.

Is hormone replacement therapy right for everyone?

No. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is one possible approach, not the default for every visitor. A clinician considers symptoms, medical history, risks and preferences. Planned options include estradiol and progesterone, alongside nonhormonal approaches; the exact product and route require clinical review.

Are vaginal treatments the same as whole-body hormone therapy?

No. Local vaginal estrogen and systemic hormone therapy serve different treatment needs. Vaginal estradiol may be considered for appropriate vaginal symptoms; it is not a general treatment for every sexual concern. The choice of hormone therapy and whether a progestogen is needed require individual clinical assessment.

Are labs or follow-up required?

Testing and follow-up depend on the evaluation and treatment being considered. Mednaro has not yet confirmed a standard lab package or visit schedule for this service. A future plan needs to explain what is required, what monitoring is appropriate and what each part costs.

How does this overlap with sexual wellness?

Vaginal dryness, discomfort and changes in desire may overlap with menopause, but sexual concerns can occur at other life stages and have other causes. Women’s Sexual Wellness is a related entry point, not an automatic second purchase or proof of hormone deficiency.

Frequently asked questions

Contact support

Can I start care now?

No. Clinical enrollment is not yet open. You can explore this information and contact general support with administrative questions. Do not send medical history, medications or sensitive personal details by ordinary email.

What does care cost, and what is included?

Pricing will be shown before enrollment opens. What is included, any separate costs, insurance acceptance and cancellation terms will be explained before you choose care.

Where will this service be available?

Services and treatment availability vary by state and clinical eligibility. Availability will be confirmed before enrollment opens.

How will prescriptions and follow-up work?

Mednaro provides the technology experience and nonclinical support. Medical decisions are made by appropriately licensed clinicians through independent clinical groups. When prescribed, medication is dispensed by licensed third-party pharmacies. Fulfillment and follow-up arrangements will be confirmed before enrollment opens.

What if treatment is not appropriate?

A consultation does not guarantee a prescription. A clinician may recommend further evaluation or another next step. Any payment and refund terms will be explained before a paid evaluation becomes available.
